It's been exactly 5 months since I updated my journal. Amazing. It went by so fast!

Feeling much better these days, but still having trouble painting...until yesterday! Dragged Corel Painter out of the dust and started on a view of the Texas hill country--inspired by "Vincent & the Doctor." While it doesn't look particularly van Gogh-like, I'm really happy with how it turned out. It began in a style similar to Starry Nights, with the wind, ect... Did not like it, moved on to this style instead, added the police box, a hawk, and love.

Why the hill country? Because it's brilliant!
